Beer Glass, Urine


Saturday Drunk includes installation and photography. Handmade tilted beer glass. The beer glass collects Jia's urine after drinking beer (human body-processed beer). Documenting her body tilted likely "drunk". Glass-making is co-produced with glassblower Noah Hartley at the S12 glass workshop. This work stems from Ji Jia's observations after moving to Norway, where every Saturday, the city transforms into a lively scene of social gatherings, where alcohol is a common element.
